Do you offer valet parking?

We do not offer valet parking however there is a parking garage located a half block north at 850 North State Street (next to Pizano’s Pizza). There is also street parking surrounding the restaurant. Uber/Lyft drivers can drop off and pickup directly in front of the restaurant.

What is your corkage fee?

We are a sommelier and wine-driven restaurant and are hopeful you can find something to enjoy from our wine list but if you have a special bottle you would like to enjoy with your dinner, the corkage fee is $65 per bottle, maximum 2 bottles per table.

Can I bring in a cake or dessert for a special occasion?

We do offer a complete dessert menu but if you’d like to bring in a special occasion cake, our “cakeage” fee is $25 per cake. This includes cupcakes, cookies and other pastries.

How do I purchase a Gift Card?

Digital Gift Cards can be purchased here. Physical gift cards can be picked up in person at the restaurant during our normal business hours. We are not able to mail our physical gift cards.

Do you offer carryout?

We do not currently offer carryout but may do so in the future.

Can we bring in balloons and other table decorations?

In consideration of our other guests, we do not allow confetti, glitter, balloons or large decorations. You are welcome to bring in other decorations and flowers for the table as long as they are discreet.

Do you have a children’s menu?

We do not offer a children’s menu.

Do you take walk-ins or do I have to make a reservation?

Reservations are recommended but walk-ins are always welcome. Our bar is first come, first served and you can enjoy our full menu at the bar.

Do you have a private events space? What is the largest group you can accommodate?

We do not have a dedicated private or semi-private events space. In order to ensure a quality experience for our patrons, the largest group we can accommodate will depend on the day of the week and the time slot requested. Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We offer separate gluten free, vegan and vegetarian menus. We can accommodate most dietary restrictions with ample notice however, there may be some ingredients we simply can’t avoid. We are not a gluten free or nut free facility. We use non-gmo canola oil for frying. If you have any specific questions, please email us at alpanachicago@gmail.com.

Are you open for lunch and brunch?

We are open for weekend brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

What is your dress code?

We recommend casual chic but you’re certainly welcome to dress up and celebrate or dress down and be comfortable.

I’d like to buy a bottle of wine/dessert for someone or take of their dinner. How do I do that?

Do you do anything special for birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions.

We love celebrations! If dessert is ordered, we will bring it out with a candle, no singing — we promise. If no dessert is ordered, we will bring a little celebratory “something”. We are not able to provide custom cakes or table decorations.
